Sad Girl

Here's a portrait I made today. It's called 'Sad Girl' as you can see...

This portrait is made on wood (19.7 x 23.6 inch.) using colored beeswax, cut out stencil and a heating device (an ordinary iron).

'Sad Girl' is for sale for the best bidder.

Sold!

It's been quite some time I've been writing on this blog. It's been almost a year.
Well, please forgive me, I was too busy with my encaustic art and Wordpress instead. Now I'm back today because of someone commenting on my post on Wordpress. As I looked her up I noticed her using 'Blogger' like I use to do. So in result I thought I would write another post.

This post is about a sale I made. It was not a big sale, but it was a sale anyway. I sold two postcards I made using encaustics and Photoshop. It's a great card if I can say so myself. And, you can buy one or two or even more too! Wouldn't that be great to surprise a friend with such a great card???

Just take a look and judge for yourself.
Here's a link (click on the image below) you can use to see more of it and more of my other artworks.
Enjoy!

Computerperiods...

When you're a woman you're familiar with your monthly periods. Okay, men also know them, but not like us women. Men only see it as inconvenient as women have to endure it.

Periods are not the most comfortable episodes in a woman's life. They can bring pain, stress and mental discomfort. Now I have a period with my computer. I bought a new one and it was doing okay for a day or four, but then he decided to call it quits. He didn't want to do what I wanted. He turned to be near to death. For someone who spends most of her time with her computer it felt like a disability, no functions left what so ever. I decided to call Dell who provided me this computer and now I have to wait for days, which seems forever, to have my old, new computer back in order.
For the time being I had to rely on my old computer who also didn't want to do what's been told to him. No, he decided when it was time for me to go on the internet or not. It lived it's own live!!!
Maybe this sounds familiar to men? Is there any comparison with women with periods??? I wouldn't know, because I'm a woman, I'm the one with periods. I would have to ask my husband...

Anyhow, I'm hoping for this to go by real quick and to having my normal live back with a good working computer on my site...
